Cetna Energy is an Alabama-based alternative energy development and operating company.  Cetna utilizes a proprietary thermochemical technology capable of converting a variety of biomass feedstocks into renewable natural gas (RNG), green methanol, green hydrogen, and other renewable liquid fuels such as; sustainable aviation fuel, renewable diesel and gasoline, and ethanol.  

The basis of the technology used by Cetna Energy is over 100 years old. Improvements made to the process over several decades and tens of thousands of run hours have resulted in significant gains in conversion rates and efficiency.  Our plants are also modular and standardized.  We don’t scale up, we simply add modules.  These improvements have afforded Cetna Energy the ability to eliminate scale-up risk, standardize reactor design to allow assembly line style fabrication, and reduce both capital costs and construction timelines.  

Cetna's products certify to the same standards as the competing products made from fossil feedstocks.  As such, our products are compatible across the board and are “drop-in” replacements.
